Our Refund Policy

Registration Refund Policy

Registration for the 2nd Islands Water Congress, scheduled for 9–11 December 2026 in Montego Bay, Jamaica, is subject to the following refund and cancellation terms.

Participant Cancellations

Requests to cancel registration must be submitted in writing via email to: info@wra.gov.jm Refund eligibility is determined based on the date the request is received.

Refund Schedule

  • Before 31 August 2026
    Full refund minus administrative processing fees.
  • 1 September – 23 November 2026
    50% refund of the registration fee.
  • After 23 November 2026
    No refunds will be issued.

Registration Transfers

Participants unable to attend may request to transfer their registration to another individual from the same organisation. Transfer requests must be submitted before 23 November 2026.

Speaker Registrations

Speakers whose proposals are accepted must complete registration by the stated deadline. Standard refund conditions apply to speaker registrations.

Programme Changes

The organisers reserve the right to make reasonable changes to:

  • the programme
  • speakers
  • venue arrangements
  • session formats

Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

Event Cancellation or Force Majeure

If the Congress is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or public health emergencies, participants will be notified and refunds will be issued where feasible after administrative costs have been deducted.

The organisers are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs incurred by participants.

Payment Disputes

Participants are encouraged to contact the organisers directly to resolve payment or registration issues before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes.
