The International Water Resources Association (IWRA) is a globally recognised non-profit, non-governmental organisation that was established in 1971. With a strong emphasison collaboration between science and policy, IWRA serves as a knowledge and research-based forum dedicated to addressing pressing water challenges. IWRA’s overarching goal is to enhance the understanding of water issues and foster sustainable water use and management worldwide. JARÐFEINGI (THE FAROESE GEOLOGICAL SURVEY)
The Faroese Geological Survey (Jarðfeingi) is an institution under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade. The mission of the survey is to administer, research, consult and teach about natural geological resources and values as a whole. Additionally, Jarðfeingi is responsible for all administrative tasks related to hydrocarbon and groundwater exploration and hydrocarbon production activities in the Faroe Islands.
